Hotels

Two of the most central hotels from the point of view of walking along the riverfront are the Hyatt and the Hampton Inn. The less expensive of the two is the Hampton Inn that is on River Street and on the same promenade as the Hyatt Regency Savannah.

The Hilton is on the border of the historic district, about a 10 to 15 minute walk to River Street. Also in the historic district are numerous Bed and Breakfasts.

Outside of the city center you will also find hotels, but with the drive time to any of the Plantations or Islands being so short, you may prefer to stay in a central location near to the many charming site of old Savannah.
