Although there is a finite amount of land, and Monroe County issues just so many building permits per year, there are many wonderful existing homes for sale in Key West that are either single-family, condos, or townhomes. Much of the newer construction is contemporary with a few homes reflecting the Victorian Old Town architectural styles.
The main neighborhoods in Key West are Old Town, Mid Town and New Town with sub-neighborhoods within these areas as well. Many of the sub-neighborhoods reflect either old or new architecture and it should be noted that there is a marvelous blend of home-styles throughout Key West as well.
One of the many real estate advantages to living in Key West are the many homes situated on canals where residents have easy access to boating.
Key West offers quality of life living in a tropical ocean setting all year long and for those who are seeking tropical paradise for part of the year.
